I am so excited to be the Principal at Southside Elementary. I feel blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community.

I am a Glencoe graduate with an education degree from Auburn and I received my masters from Alabama. I began my education career as a science teacher at Pell City High School. There I also coached softball for four years before moving home to Etowah County. My husband Brett and I both took jobs at Southside where I coached softball and taught science.

I have a vested interest in Southside, all three have my daughters attend school in the Southside School District. I can assure you this is a wonderful faculty, I know the impact they have made on my children!
